Email Problems Last Weekend
A few clients were affected by email delays and/or downtime between 5pm on April 9th and 10am April 10th.
The issue was caused by beloved spambots hammering away on one of our mail servers, possibly an attempted DOS (Denial of Service) attack. We shut down the server, found and stopped the source of the problem, cleared the backlog of spam emails, then fired the server back up again. No email was lost and mail was flowing again Saturday morning.
CreoLogic does not host all email (eggs) on the same server (basket), therefore only a few clients experienced the delays/downtime. Aplogies to ergos.ca and the few others who didn't even notice.
